Pineapple is one of Vietnam’s most cherished tropical fruits, loved for its sweet-tart flavor, vibrant golden flesh, and refreshing aroma. Known locally as Dứa, Khóm, or Thơm, it is enjoyed both fresh and processed from smoothies and juices to jams and canned products.
Beyond its delicious taste, pineapple is highly nutritious. It is rich in manganese, vitamin C, and B1, helping boost immunity and support overall wellness. With its balance of sweetness and acidity, pineapple also makes a versatile ingredient in many culinary creations, from savory dishes to desserts.
At Havigo, we source pineapples from Vietnam’s most fertile growing regions, where ideal soil and climate conditions ensure premium fruit quality. Each pineapple is carefully selected, packed, and handled under strict quality control to meet international export standards.

Our pineapples are carefully selected and packed following EU export standards. Each fruit is graded, and cleaned to ensure freshness and quality consistency. Stored at +8°C in hygienic, temperature-controlled warehouses, every shipment meets strict food safety and traceability requirements, guaranteeing the fruit’s best condition upon arrival.
Inner Wrap:
Each pineapple is carefully cleaned and selected before packing. The stem is trimmed to 1–2 cm, and the surface is brushed with a soft tool to remove insects or debris, ensuring hygiene and compliance with export quality standards.
Primary Packaging:
Pineapples are arranged horizontally in two rows per carton, with the stem facing outward and the crown inward. Each bud is placed between two stems of the opposite row to minimize friction and prevent bruising during transport.
Outer Carton:
The fruits are packed in strong, dry, and odor-free corrugated cartons with ventilation holes for proper airflow. Each carton typically contains 6–8 pineapples, depending on the commercial agreement. The packaging ensures consistency in ripeness, size, and weight while maintaining product freshness and stability throughout the logistics process.
Temperature & Moisture Control:
To preserve the natural sweetness and texture of the fruit, pineapples are stored and transported at a controlled temperature of +8°C to +10°C with optimal humidity levels. This prevents dehydration, maintains freshness, and extends shelf life during long-distance shipments. Cold chain integrity is strictly monitored from the packing facility to the destination port.
Net Weight:
Common packaging options include 5kg, 10kg, and 18kg cartons, depending on buyer preferences and export requirements.
Sealing & Labeling:
Each carton is securely sealed with moisture-resistant tape or strapping to protect against humidity and external impact. Labels are printed with indelible ink and include essential export information such as:
Product name and variety (Queen or MD2 Pineapple)
Origin: Tiền Giang, Vietnam
Brix level and size grade
Net weight and packing date
Exporter and packer details for full traceability
All labeling complies with Vietnamese and international export regulations, ensuring transparency and reliability for global buyers.
