SEEDLESS LIME

Overview

Unlike regular limes which can have several large seeds, seedless limes typically contain no seeds or just a few very small. This makes them a favorite among consumers who appreciate the ease of use and the absence of spitting out seeds when enjoying the fruit. Seedless limes have a milder flavor than regular limes, offering a bright, acidic taste that complements many dishes.

Seedless Lime is a unique fruit from Vietnam. According to VietGap standards, seedless lime is primarily grown in the southern provinces. As a result, Vietnamese seedless lime meets all export requirements.

Each year, Vietnam exports hundreds of thousands of tonnes of seedless lime. Vietnamese seedless lime's main export markets include Singapore, the Middle East, and Europe.

Our Factory

Vietnam offers the ideal growing conditions for seedless limes. Firstly, these lime trees thrive in warm, tropical to subtropical climates. Next, they require full sun (8-12 hours per day) for optimal fruit production. Finally, well-draining, slightly acidic to neutral soil (pH 6.0-7.0) suits them best. One place can be suitable for the cultivation this fruit plant, it’s in the South of Vietnam.

HAVIGO owns 5 hectares and a large factory specializing in processing and exporting seedless limes. With modern and advanced machinery, seedless limes will be measured, cleaned, and packaged to ensure excellent standards when exported.

  • Carton Boxes: Use new, sturdy corrugated cardboard boxes specifically designed for fruit export. These boxes should be sized appropriately for either 4kg or 10kg net weight when filled.
  • Inner Liners: A food-grade polyethylene (PE) liner placed inside the box helps maintain freshness and prevent moisture build-up.
  • Dividers/Baffles: Consider using cardboard dividers or molded pulp inserts to separate the limes and prevent them from rubbing against each other during transport. This is especially important for 10kg boxes.
  • Tissue Paper: Optional, but some exporters use soft tissue paper to wrap individual limes for additional cushioning, particularly for larger fruits.
