SP (Small Pieces):
As its name, SP cashews are broken pieces, they are smaller in size than LP cashews. Besides, they also use SP cashew nuts when they need smaller nut sizes, such as in granola bars, confectionery products, or snack mixes.
BB (Baby Broken/Baby Bits):
BB cashews are the smallest. Their shapes are not uniform. The shape of this cashew kind seems a mix of many small and smaller pieces. They are ideal for applying cashew butter or grinding into cashew pastes and sauces to add a creamy cashew flavor.
SW (Scorched Whole):
People don’t grade this kind of cashew by the shape. They do it by color instead. SW is a large, scorched, whole-grain cashew that has all the characteristics and the same nutritional qualities as white cashews. However, it has a slight brown color due to longer roasting.
