Lychee Export Packaging Specifications

To preserve the freshness and vibrant flavor of Vietnamese lychees during export, every step from selection to packaging follows strict quality standards. Proper packing and temperature control ensure the fruits arrive in perfect condition worldwide.

Lychee Packaging Materials:

Lychees are packed in clean, food-grade cartons or foam boxes that are strong, dry, and well-ventilated. Inside, each fruit cluster is cushioned with soft paper or foam mesh to prevent bruising. Cartons are typically lined with polyethylene to maintain humidity and freshness during transport.

Temperature & Storage:

Fresh lychees are highly perishable and require a cool environment throughout storage and shipment. The optimal temperature is 2–5°C, with a relative humidity of 90–95% to preserve color, texture, and flavor. Lychees should be stored in clean, odor-free, and well-ventilated cold rooms, away from ethylene-producing fruits.

Key Packing Specifications:

      • Net Weight per Carton: Commonly 2 kg, 5 kg, or 10 kg (customizable by buyer request).
      • Packaging Style: Whole lychee clusters packed in layers, with protective cushioning between layers.
      • Labeling: Each carton includes details such as product name, origin (e.g., Bac Giang, Vietnam), grade, net weight, and packing date for full traceability.

      • Sealing: Cartons are securely sealed with moisture-resistant tape or straps to ensure product integrity during long-distance transportation.
