VIETNAMESE PEPPER

Overview

Vietnamese pepper has a strong aroma but a mild flavor—and the aromas and flavors are very different. According to one taster, "strong" was the dominant smell, with suggestions of fruit, citrus, and even fennel. The mellow flavor evokes black tea, smoke, and wood, but it's "not crazy complex" and not overly hot.

HAVIGO specializes in providing a variety of white and black pepper. Our peppers have been verified by SGS QC and always guarantee:

✅ Not moldy.

✅ The seeds are firm and plump, with a few flat seeds.
✅ Not containing impurities or insect corpses.
✅ Have a characteristic aroma, spicy flavor.

Farming in Dong Nai

Despite appearing late in Vietnam, peppercorn still became an important plant that brought about high economic value. The provinces: Binh Phuoc, Vung Tau, Dak Lak, Gia Lai… are the main supplements of black pepper. Especially, people call pepper from Phu Quoc the hidden gem. Why can Vietnam provide an abundant output of this spice? It’s due to the climate conditions are favorable for pepper cultivation.

At HAVIGO, we own 100 hectares pepper farm in Dong Nai - One of the provinces famous for pepper production.
Dong Nai province has a rich and fertile land fund that can be suitable for growing many agricultural crops such as pepper. In particular, Dong Nai has a tropical monsoon climate near the equator, with the average annual air temperature ranging from 25.7 - 26.7 degrees Celsius. It can be said that Dong Nai is a region with a temperate climate for pepper to grow easily.

After completing the steps, the pepper will be loaded into containers for transportation to customers.

Our products meet the standard for exporting:

  • Protecting from Moisture: As with packing, black pepper during loading is protected from moisture. This might involve covering the hold/truck bed with tarps during loading or transport, especially in areas with high humidity.

  • Fumigation: In some cases, pepper shipments might undergo fumigation to eliminate pests during transport.
