Vietnamese cuisine is famous for the balance of flavors, and fresh chili contributes to this harmony. The blend of sweet, salty, sour, and spicy flavors is a hallmark of Vietnamese cooking. Their spiciness adds depth and excitement to dishes, enhancing the overall taste.
Known as the “King of Chili” in Vietnam, Dong Thap province is one of the largest chili cultivation areas. The ideal conditions for small chili crops include fertile alluvial soil, mudflats, and many islets. Initially, the cultivation area was small, however it has expanded to approximately 1,800 hectares. The chili harvest season typically runs from October to April, with an impressive output of around 25,000 tons per crop.
HAVIGO owns 2 factories in Phu Tho and Dong Thap producing chilies and we are confident that we can export 200 - 300 tons of chilies per month.
To create fresh and delicious chilies, workers at our factory are always diligent and careful at each step. Each process is thoroughly controlled and screened to select the best chilies for export.
At HAVIGO, we prepare bags to pack chilies to ensure the transportation process goes smoothly and does not damage the product.

Phytosanitary Certificates: Fresh chili exports often require phytosanitary certificates issued by Vietnamese authorities. These certificates confirm the chilies are free from pests and diseases, adhering to import regulations.
Fumigation: In some cases, chili shipments may undergo fumigation to eliminate pests during transport. Exporters ensure compliance with regulations of the importing country.
Labeling: Clear labeling will include information like product origin (Vietnam), chili variety, net weight, and sometimes even harvest and packing dates.
